SFJB wanted to extend students learning about Jazz through the summer and began Jazz Camp in 2011. In its 10th year, Jazz Camp continues to grow in fun and popularity!
At camp, students get to learn from incredible instructors and a guest artist through a variety of offerings. Camp class offerings include Jazz improvisation, Jazz Theory, History of Jazz, Combo Rehearsal, Big Band Rehearsal, Lessons, Concerts, Master Classes, Evening concerts with faculty, guests, and students. In addition to learning and growing their passion for music, this camp captures everything students should enjoy in the summer – fun-filled, build new friendships, and life-long memories!
